Commentary, criticism, reportage, essays and more: Ragmans Rake compiles articles and publishes them, via the Internet, for professional use or simply for reading pleasure. Whether writing book review or business report; feature story or political commentary, everyone has a chance to make a statement at Ragman's Rake. The only condition for publication: quality. And readers are asked only to abide by the rules of Ragman's Rake. These rules are simple, and at the time of registration, readers, contributors, publishers and editors alike must promise to follow them.
To whet your appetite, Ragman's Rake created the Odds and Ends link, a sampling of writings from the Ragmans Rake Reservoir open to the general public (no password needed). Normally these excerpts will be somewhat older, but give a feeling of what the Reservoir includes.
In Readers Review, the general public can read Letters to the Editor dealing with individual articles. These letters can be accessed without a password. Editors will select letters for publication, and ask that contributors be brief and stick to their own opinions. Readers are also encouraged to address ongoing themes found in articles as well as other Letters to the Editor. Letters pertinent to an article will be noted in that articles Information Index found at the top of the page. Letters will only be accepted via e-mail, and must include an authentic name (no aliases).
